Lenore Raphael, Jazz Pianist

Critics, jazz hosts, and jazz lovers all
agree:
Lenore Raphael
is one of the
most SWINGING mainstream pianists
today. She has crafted her own unique
sound from the influences of Oscar
Peterson, Bud Powell, and Bill Evans.
Jazz critic John Gilbert has called her
“simply one of the best pianists in the
jazz mainstream today.”
Ms. Raphael has recorded seven
critically-acclaimed CDs on the Swingin’
Fox Music label, and two of her
recordings were up for Grammy
Nominations. She now has her own
radio show called “Lenore Raphael’s
JazzSpot” on the Internet Radio station
PureJazzRadio. Additionally, she is a
talented jazz teacher andhas presented
highly acclaimed Jazz Master Classes
at colleges and universities worldwide.

Dr. Jungwon Jin, Pianist

Dr. Jungwon Jin
began her musical
studies at the age of six and debuted
at the age of twelve with the Seoul
Philharmonic Orchestra, performing
Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1. After
coming to the United States to study
at The Juilliard School, she continued
her studies at the Manhattan School
of Music. She earned her masters
and doctoral degrees under Nancy
Bricard at the University of Southern
California.
Dr. Jin has performed extensively,
both in recital and with orchestra, in
the United States, Asia, and Europe.
Her performances were featured on
ABC Radio in Australia, KBS Radio-
Television in Korea, KCRW in Santa
Monica, CTS TV in Buena Park, and
the Young Artist Showcase on WQXR
in New York. She joined the faculty
of Santa Ana College in 2011, and is
currently an Assistant Professor of
Music.
