This year’s Sunnylands Center
Exhibition will focus on the glamorous
entertaining done by former White
House Chief of Protocol Leonore
Annenberg and her husband Walter,
former Ambassador to the Court of St.
James’s and a publishing magnate.
Anne Rowe,
Director of Collections &
Exhibitions, will discuss this exhibition
featuring five special events: Frank and
Barbara Sinatra’s wedding; the famed
New Year’s Eve parties, especially
those attended by President and Mrs.
Reagan; the visit by Queen Elizabeth
II; the meeting between President
George H.W. Bush and Japanese
Prime Minister Toshiki Kaifu; and the
Sunnylands Summit with President
Barack Obama and President Xi
Jinping of the People’s Republic of
China.

today. Mr. Smith will walk attendees

will be of interest to every homeowner
and design aficionado.

Susan Stein,
local fashionista, fashion
editor of
Palm Springs Life Magazine,
Creative/Producer and Director of
Fashion Week El Paseo, and principal
at A La Mode Productions, will speak
on major issues concerning the
fashion industry including creativity,
proprietary rights, and the changing
world of fashion.
