Drive-In Theater Series
The Library’s year-long 20th Anniversary celebration
continues with three evenings of B movies in our
Community Room – set up as an (indoor) drive-in theater!
Three films will be screened on three consecutive nights –
all ‘50s era classic science fiction pictures.
Watch them drive-in style – while seated in one of 40 golf carts parked
bumper to bumper in the Community Room.
What better way to re-create a fondly remembered movie-going
experience from yesteryear?
Library Director David Bryant will kick off each night’s event with a
brief welcome followed by an overview of the evening’s featured
presentation by
film historian Christopher Perry

Film Schedule
Wednesday, April 27: Plan 9 From Outer Space (1959)
Thursday, April 28: Attack of the 50 Foot Woman (1958)
Friday, April 29: This Island Earth (1955)
Patrons are encouraged to wear 1950’s attire, although it is not required.
Popcorn will be served. Due to this event’s special seating arrangements,
space is limited to 80 movie attendees, two per golf cart, each night.
Registrations will be limited to two people, the night you choose, only.
To attend an evening of this one-time-only series,
patrons must register online for Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
