John and Jeannine Henebry’s
reputation as the world’s foremost
golf
landscape
photographers
rests on their passion for both
photography and golf. The brother
and sister collaboration, known
as The Henebrys, has been
featured internationally in major golf
publications and dozens of books.
They first came to Palm Springs on
golf vacations as youngsters with
their golf-mad Dad, but were later
drawn to the artistic potential of the
Coachella Valley’s golf tradition when
John, having finished a series of
National Geographic assignments in
Asia, turned his camera’s eye toward
the gorgeous golf courses of the
Coachella Valley.
In recent years The Henebrys have
turned their eyes to our wonderful
natural world, whether one of the
National Parks or another beautiful
wild place, they use the same
developed techniques and patience
as regards to waiting for the optimal
light to appear.
In every image, The Henebrys
demonstrate their deep understanding
of the landscape. Their patient
approach yields the viewer an
exceptional perspective, evident in
each of their extraordinary prints.
