Documentary Photographer’s
Journey to Inspire
In this lecture, fine arts photographer,
Stephen Wilkes,
focuses on the past
decade of his documentary work,
specifically concentrating on the rising

of some of the greatest storms in the
last century. He started this series by
documenting Hurricane Katrina nine
years ago and shares that initial body
of work, along with his documentary
work of Hurricane Sandy for
Time
magazine. He also speaks about his
most recent work commissioned by
the Annenberg Space for Photography
for the “Sink or Swim” exhibition.
