Did you know that the Rancho Mirage Library and Observatory has a seed library so you can check out seeds and grow your very own garden?

Our seed library offers vegetable, herb, and flower seeds that you can take home and plant.

There is no charge to use the seed library. It is open and free to the public. You don’t even need a library card!

The seed library is located near the Circulation Desk.

Seed packets are arranged by variety and then alphabetically by the name of the vegetable, fruit, or herb.

We ask that you limit your selection to five packets per visit and hope you enjoy watching your garden grow!

(Seed selections will fluctuate based on season and availability)
