Who We Are

In September 2010, The Library Board of the Rancho Mirage Public Library established a Foundation to organize fundraising on behalf of the Library. The Foundation’s first Citywide mailing to encourage contributions went to all households in Rancho Mirage and Indian Wells in December 2010. Gifts to fund programming, the collection, the Children’s Summer Reading Club, or other needs are deeply appreciated. The Foundation also sponsors the Annual Library Literary Luncheon. The 2011 Luncheon featured best-selling author and screenwriter Dennis Lehane (Mystic River, Gone, Baby ,Gone and Moonlight Mile) who received rave reviews from those who attended.

 The Foundation has an eleven member Board, overseeing activities and the fundraising mission. Current Board members:
