Born in Tehran, Iran, Bijan Masoumpanah grew up in the land of poets, scholars, art and architecture. At an early age his talent was recognized by friends and at school. At the age of twenty-seven he left Iran for England in order to develop a more diverse understanding of art. After studying art for three years in London, Bijan moved to the United States and continued his art education at Portland State University. Bijan received various awards, among them the "International Photography Award". He has worked in the fields of graphic design, photography, illustration, paintings, murals, calligraphy, sculture and computer art. Bijan finds pleasure in the ability to express his artistic visions through various mediums. Presently Bijan lives in Southern California.
