Robert D. Kline Presents An Appreciation of the Legacy of President John F. Kennedy
Time: 2:00 - 3:30 pm
Location: Community Room
On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas. Fifty years later, the nation honors his memory and the legacy of his 1,000 day presidency. His Pulitzer Prize-winning book Profiles in Courage will be the basis of film producer and lecturer Robert Kline’s two-day appearance at the Library. The programs will focus on Americans who displayed courage in the public arena, no matter what the physical, political, or financial cost was to them. Mr. Kline will conclude the two-day event focusing upon the unique psyche of JFK himself as he faced the challenges of the Cold War.
